Northampton University Waterside Campus

Client: Northampton University 

MCW were commissioned to develop an outline masterplan for up to 20,000sqm of university accommodation on a riverside site. The new campus consolidated the existing split campus into one new riverside site on the edge of the town centre.

Atkins were commissioned to design a unique Creative Hub (9,000sqm) combining a Creative and Performing Arts Hub and the Laboratory Hub plus a 5,300sqm Reception and teaching building at the entrance to the campus. (Research and Enterprise Hub).
